Your tasks:

  • Overall responsibility for the project development of large-scale battery storage systems from the initial concept phase through to commissioning
  • Management and coordination of all project phases, including site search, planning, approval procedures and construction work
  • Close cooperation with authorities, network operators, external specialist planners, partners and internal specialist departments to ensure timely implementation
  • Monitoring and controlling the project budget as well as time and resource planning
  • Ensuring compliance with technical, legal and environmental standards and regulations
  • Preparation of decision papers for management and regular reporting on project progress
  • Management and motivation of interdisciplinary project teams
  • Further development of internal processes in the area of project development and management
  • Identifying and evaluating new project opportunities and conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses specifically for battery storage projects
  • Market and competition analyses and identification of new project opportunities and development potential

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, economics, environmental sciences or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the field of renewable energies or infrastructure projects
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of project development, approval processes and the energy industry
  • Experience in working with authorities and network operators and in negotiating contracts
  • Strong technical understanding, especially in the field of battery storage, energy infrastructure or similar large-scale projects
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking as well as excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Leadership experience and the ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English

  • Responsibility for the submission of building applications and approval documents
  • Independent coordination of planning processes in collaboration with architects, specialist planners and authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations and technical standards
  • Maintenance of technical documentation and management of planning documents
  • Participation in the preparation of service specifications and tenders

 

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a draftsman or degree in the field of architecture, civil engineering, engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Authorization to submit building plans in accordance with the state building regulations
  • Profound knowledge of construction planning law, especially in the field of energy buildings
  • Professional experience in the planning and approval of infrastructure projects, ideally related to the energy industry
  • Experienced with CAD programs (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) and MS Office
  • Independent and precise way of working as well as organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team to successfully coordinate interdisciplinary projects

To support our team, we are looking for a grid connection manager (m/f/d) who specializes in the grid connection of large-scale battery storage systems and plays a key role in our projects.

Your tasks:

  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of grid connection processes for large-scale battery storage projects
  • Technical and regulatory review of connection options to the electricity grid in close cooperation with grid operators and authorities
  • Preparation, submission and negotiation of grid connection applications and contracts
  • Evaluation of technical connection conditions and identification and resolution of potential challenges
  • Coordination of certification processes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the project team in all matters relating to grid connections and technical interfaces
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with network operators, certification bodies and other relevant stakeholders
  • Analyzing and monitoring developments in power grid technology to identify opportunities for new projects
  • Support for construction and commissioning processes for systems with regard to grid connection

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of grid connection, preferably in the environment of large-scale battery storage, grid operators, energy suppliers, renewable energies or energy technology
  • Sound knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for grid connections and energy infrastructure
  • Experience in working with grid operators and in negotiating grid connection contracts
  • Technical understanding of power grids and energy distribution, especially in relation to battery storage projects
  • High level of communication and negotiation skills and ability to work in a team
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
