Battery storage as the third pillar of renewable power generation is essential to ensure a successful energy transition. The energy transition is essentially based on three pillars: the generation of renewable energy, the optimization of energy consumption and the storage of energy. Battery storage systems ensure that renewable energy can be used reliably at any time and make the energy system flexible, stable and sustainable.

Renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power are the main players in the energy transition. They produce clean energy, but often irregularly and depending on the weather. More efficient use and intelligent control of energy are important in order to reduce demand and optimize distribution.

The cost of battery storage systems is falling steadily and their efficiency is increasing, making their integration increasingly economical. The further development of storage technologies enables larger capacities, longer lifetimes and greater environmental friendliness.

Without them, the volatile generation profiles of wind and solar energy could not be used effectively, which would make the vision of a sustainable and emission-free energy system unattainable.
